For the safety of clients and communities, all services are currently only offered remotely.
For older children, teens, and adults, creative use of technology allows for productive, engaging sessions. For younger children, parent coaching is the primary focus. For more information, please get in touch! High-quality service remains my top priority.
For anyone with communication challenges, daily interaction can be frustrating. Language therapy and coaching involves collaboratively working to increase communicative joy, ease, and success. This could include building skills in speaking, listening, social skills, perspective taking, articulation, vocabulary, literacy, memory, and more! Any communication skills and tasks can be assessed and identified as goals. Language services may be provided intensively over a short period of time to accomplish rapid acquisition of skills, regularly over a longer period of time to promote application and generalization of skills, or both.
For young clients, literacy materials are incorporated during every session to maximize opportunities for building language skills across modalities. For older clients, programming is guided by client preference and desired outcomes. For all individual clients, building self-knowledge and self-advocacy is an important part of language intervention, making it easier for the client to approach challenges with confidence and skill.
